The Opening of the Andover Foodbank Warehouse extension. 12 October 2018

The Andover foodbank was set up in 2006 to provide emergency food to local people who find themselves in short term crisis and are without means to buy food. During the last financial year, the foodbank distributed over 30 tonnes of food to feed 5,000 people, giving families and individuals valuable breathing space to address longer term issues without the worry of feeding their families or themselves. Good quality, secure and long term storage is essential to the project.
