High Sheriff of Hampshire 2017-18, Mary Montagu-Scott

High Sheriff of Hampshire 2017-18 Mary Montagu-Scott has announced the launch of the High Sheriff Community Awards and is calling for public servants, voluntary groups and individuals to submit their entries for the annual awards. The awards are designed to showcase the vibrant culture that is alive in Hampshire, and hopefully inspire others to make Hampshire a better, safer county for us all to live in.
The High Sheriff, Mary Montagu-Scott, said: “There are so many people in Hampshire making a huge difference in their communities and to the lives of other people in their local area. The High Sheriff’s Awards are an extremely important part of my role and I look forward to showing my appreciation for the outstanding work of those people as a mark of respect for their hard work improving the day to day lives of those in need in our communities.”

Shortlisted nominees will be contacted at the end of February 2018 and the awards will be presented at a ceremony on 14th March 2018 at the Great Hall in Winchester.The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Community Foundation (HIWCF) administers the High Sheriff’s Fund and works in partnership with the High Sheriff of Hampshire in organising the High Sheriff’s Awards.
